Stubbed Toe Gone Right

Literally... gone right

because my toe hurt like crazy...

Finally out of the house

after a day in pain on the couch

only up to puke

Hubby got the liquid stuff

that helped a TON

so today I could be myself

again.

Soak up the day

again.

Enjoying the walk

no matter the humidity

distracted by the sights and sounds

stubbed my toe

cut my walk short

turned right instead of left

ran into Stephanie.

I was able to walk with her

(I hope that's legal)

and talk with her

and learn a bit about Malik 

and her almost-eighth-grader 

and her "daughter" = 4 month-old puppy Shelby.

Toe feels fine now

smile on my face

sweat down my back.
